PCV on a 89 302

I'm trying to find the PCV valve but no luck. Anyone know where it's located? thanks.

IIRC, it should be in the oil fill cap on the driver side rocker arm (valve) cover.

That's what I thought but I couldn't tell how to make it fit, whether the metal part goes into the oil fill cap or into the hose. thanks.

the metal part goes into the fill cap andthe plastic part goes into the hose.if it fuel injected the PCV may be in the back of the intake.if its in the back of the intake make sure youreplace the screen that is underneath the rubber grommet as they et caked with sludge and cause huge un fixableoil leaks.

I had a 1987 F-150 with a 302 EFI the pcv valve it self was on the right (sitting forward in the driver seat) on the back of the motor in the valve cover with a hose leading to the upper intake plenum
