I am looking for the IH Part Number for a 6.0 Water Pump. Want to price one from IH... local Dealer want $175+tax.

Or Better yet, if someone knows of a complete cross-reference (spreadsheet, PDF File, website, etc...) for IH Part numbers for all the 6.0 parts available from IH would be great.

you know the IH 4300 6.0 may use accessories of a different configuration than a ford pickup uses.
i can get the IH p/n but be warned there may be a difference.

The VT365 (IIRC which is IH's flavor of the 6.0), may have a pump mounted water filter. FYI.

That would be nice, if a VT365 pump would fit, and had the filter. I am planning on adding a Coolant Filter when I change the pump. Between the sand, and the issues with Oil / EGR Coolers, I want to add a filter. If the pump already has one, even better!!!

Is the pump part# you mention for the '03 and early '04 model year or the later model years?

I assume it is for the early model years, but would appreciate it if you could confirm.

You can put a newer water pump (improved design) on your 2003 engine if you purchase and install an updated (newer year) front cover.

What is the difference in the early and late water pumps? Obviously something, but the only thing I have to go by is the pics on the net.... and the only obvious thing I see is there are more holes on the fan flange on the newer pump......

The water pump impeller diameter has increased in size to 100 mm from 90 mm. Note: Both water pumps have the same bolt pattern, but a different sealing area. As a result, the smaller water pump has the physical ability to be installed into an updated front cover. If this is done, a coolant leak and over heating of the engine may result.

2005:
The water pump pulley has been made more robust with the use of a thicker flange.
• The new water pump pulley design does not require the separate flange support plate as used on the previous design.
