Oil Dip Stick Tube

I used the search function but couldn't find anything.

Recently I replaced my passenger side valve cover gasket and removed the oil dip stick tube. Now I can't get it to go back in. Any tips?

you can reach the hole in the block from under the truck. Just feed it down from the top and let it rest on something, then go under and plug it in. may need a flashlight to help get a visual.
