What about a Purolater fuel filter? Thats all the local auto parts store had, so I bought it and put her on. It looked good internally, pretty heavy and better yet it was only $9. I am going back with Motorcraft when I change it again, but I just put 8 new injectors in and I want to change the filter just in case.

BTW. The PO must not of did much PM, I had to drive a screwdriver in both the oil and fuel filter to remove them. I broke 3 filter wrenches...

I run the purolater fuel filter as well. Seems to work good so far.
I run rotella 15w40 and a purolator oil filter as well.
x2 on the fram, I have cut them open as well and seen the cardboard in place of steel, and poor media.

Purolator makes good filters as well. I'm pretty sure they are the ones who make the motorcraft filters.
