It has been a while since I posted...
I have a fuel leak on the electrical connection on top of the fuel filter head. Does anyone know the size so I can purchase a new one before disassembly? (I really can not have the truck down for days right now)

The International dealer should have it in stock, it's only like $3 or so. Can't tell ya size tho, I shoe-horned an injector o-ring there but it was a royal pain in the posterior and really mostly a redneck/emergency solution to the issue.

I did a temporary fix on mine with rtv two years ago (because the stores were closed), and it's still not leaking!

Parts guy at the local International says they don't use the heater on the filter head for their trucks, so the filter head with heater and o-ring are Ford only.

I used a neoprene o-ring for the a/c system to get the truck back together and running.

Based on the size I used this would be the Viton o-ring from McMaster-Carr
Part Number: 1201T28 $5.43 per pack of 25
Dash Number 017

Actual Width .070"
Inside Diameter 11/16"
Outside Diameter 13/16"
Material Viton
Viton Type Military Specification MIL-R-83248C
Durometer Hard
Durometer Shore A: 75
Temperature Range -15° to +400°F
Color Black

Parts guy apparently hasn't looked at one of their IDI motors lately.cookoo

They do run a heater on their filter heads. Ford relocated it to the passenger side of the motor.
The IH version runs the van fuel filter head assembly with heater.

Ford will only sell the entire heater assembly to get just the oring!

The IH fuel heater oring part number is 1811053C1.;Sweet

Thanks for the correct part number. They were busy and I wondered if it was a blow off.

At least it is not leaking and I can power wash the engine and underside of the cab today (I have to make a quick 600 mile trip in the truck on Saturday).
