So I drove the truck over to my grandpa's to change his thermostat in his pickup(5mi at most) it sat 30-45 min then wouldn't start cranked fine just wouldn't start- never happened before the only thing that changed was I put some Diesel Kleen(grey bottle) in before i left- I do know I over did it a little, came out of the bottle faster than I wanted it to- so left for an hour or so, came back changed fuel filter(needed done anyway) filled filter with fuel, topped tank off. cycled gp for about 5sec, truck fires right up. Is this IP heat soak or did I overdose on additive?:dunno

You can't really over due the additive. You can fill the filter with it and start and run off of it. When you changed the filter, was it full of fuel or down a little? The fix could have been the filter.

Very unlikely Diesel Kleen had anything to do with it. Have used it in every tank and fuel filter for more than a year and never an issue with the IP or injectors.......
