The 2nd week of November I put a brand new vacuum pump on my truck. It's a Standard Motor Products VCP105.

Well it's just started blowing oil all over the place.

I'm expecting I'll just warranty it but before I do was curious, as I haven't opened one up, would it just be a torn diaphragm?

Likely so, I would check the shaft housing cover in the back of the pump, there’s a small bolt that holds the cover on and make sure it’s not leaking from the bolt hole or edges of the cover.

No it's clearly coming out of the top of the diaphragm housing. Running down and getting blown by the fan.
