New truck ..wiring help

I just picked up an 1987 f350 cclb 7.3l over the weekend hasnt ran in awhile from the looks of it. i noticed there were some melted wires and klooks like rats chewing some wires, i havent been able to find a good wiring diagram for the engine. i anyone has a saved on there comp that would great or maybe some links to check out,

I would like to see some pictures of the engine compartment maybe to see some wiring and things like that make sure everything is there

thanks for any help that i recieve been a lurker for a bit now waiting to for the right deal on a truck

best bet is to find another harness.
87-91 will work
i should have a harness available next month.

i will be buying an aftermarket harness for my entire truck here pretty soon,
cant let it go until i do.
all diesel trucks, from 87-91 will be the same tho... single cab, ex cab and crew cab
btw, welcome to the forum.

Looks like some shoemaker did that wiring. Here is basically the engine wiring.

Search on here for headlite mod and do that. Look in the IDI Tech Articles for other mods and info.

That labled engine connection in the schematic is like your pic #5 with the melted connector.

Starter relay is the one mounted on the pass side fender,

Fuel shutoff is on the IP forward one toward radiator. The other on the IP is the cold advance solenoid.

figgured it changed over with the body style.
the cab connector looked the same from my 89 to my 87
