IDI up high
I picked me up a new toy this weekend!
A 1991 GMC Suburban, 3rd row seat and all, with a nice rebuilt 6.2L diesel under the hood. The biggest suprise is the SM-465 hand-shaker behind the diesel, with a NP205 case attached to the end. With a 10 bolt up front, and a 14 bolt in the rear, the driveline cant get much better than that!
What an awesome runner too. The 4:10 gears in the axles make for a lively driver. This is by far the nicest running 6.2 I have ever driven, and powerful too.....I'm pretty sure the 4:10's make it feel a bit peppier than one with 3:42's. It's pretty cool having a bolt action in a Suburban, and everything is tight and very nice...no rust either. Plus the rear window actually works, and works good! Here's some pics.
