Don't mind the filter minder. Lol I think it's weak. Filter hasn't even been on a year.

The po got rid of the rubber piece on mine. He rigged this whole truck but at least he put a king pin so that's a plus

How do I use this thing? I have this software:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=OCTech.Mobile.Applications.OBDLink&hl=en
but I can't figure it out, I can't even find good instruction online other than how to connect it. It says I have no trouble codes and I have 125 stored codes but this thing won't give up the codes. Also can't figure out how to run the buzz test or how to really do anything other than monitor stuff.

so what gives? do I need a different app to run tests or am I doing something wrong? It won't even give me details on vin or computers. It cycled the snot out of my glow plugs too. I could smell it when I looked under the hood.

I believe car gauge pro? Is the one that'll run buzz test and stuff.
Try the free torque first.

do you know if our trucks cycle the gp's after a cold start. I know some diesels do this to help warm up faster

it appears my gp relay stays active after a cold start, I was blaming the scanner and software but it happens without it. I just never noticed before because I never ran it w/o the plastic shroud on top of the motor.
