Page 116 in the April issue. Another reference to "forgotten diesels". At least they confess there are still thousands out there and that they are a good choice. The Paragraph starts off with "One of the best workhorse trucks of the 80's..." They alude to having sometimes starting and idling problems. Idling problems? cookoo

Take a look at their message boards. There's a category for GM 6.2/6.5, Duramax, Power Stroke and Cummins (listed in that order) - NO 6.9/7.3 IDI category :puke: I think there's a bit of GM bias over there - even in the magazine. The GM 6.2/6.5s get a lot more exposure even though our engines our far superior :rolleyes: .

If a 6.9 has idling problems, then a 6.2 which has a very similar fuel system must encompass the same problems.... :backoff
