Just looking for between 325-375hp should I modify the idi or should I just swap in a cummins
Yet another good non-Cummins option.i like the IDI's but im converting my haulers to international DT's
A bigger pump, turbo, head studs, and maybe injectors will get it to the 300-325 range. Wes says that he's had a few engines come apart in the 350-400 range with the N/A rods. To be safe, I'd try to keep it in the 325 or less range with N/A rods. Even 300 HP is huge compared to stock.
those words do not belong in a mans vocabularydoes not seem to be possible
Electric fans? The only ways I can see it be possible is with a very large body lift so the fan would not be sticking out the hood. Or a custom mount that mounts a pulley between the water pump and crank pulley that the fan attached to. Problem is there seems to not be very much room for a pulley between there so a custom water pump and crank pulley would have to be made smaller in size. A really small pulley could work but the fan would be spinning some crazy rpm
