My friend just bought a 1991 dodge cummins and the engine has a miss but only when the engine is warm.What could be causing this?Any help is appreciated.

Sucking air from somewhere. Check the fuel lines from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the injectors. Depending on mileage you may want to consider sending the injectors to get tested as they may be part of the problem.

also mybe check to see if the timing has slipped.............happens easily as it just a papper fit on the gear to shaft
