As I am discovering ...contrary to what I thought I read..C6 and ZF drive shafts are quite different.

Now add to the mishmash of flavours I have going on here...I need a 3rd set of measurements.

Does anyone have a F350 SC 4x ZF truck who could measure the REAR drive shafts for me?

Weld to weld measurement on each one of two rear shafts please:hail:hail

Thanks in advance

Really? When I did my ZF swap from a C6, I just use the C6 driveline, because the one in my donor truck was *****'d haha! I had no length issues, I mean, its a little shorter but not enough to make any difference.

Odd - we put in a C6 rear driveshaft when going from slushbox to hand-shaker and it was a bit too long, IIRC 2" is what we had the rear trimmed to. Front shaft we had one for a T19 gas job so we used that and it fit well.

How long is your rear driveshaft, yoke to yoke? BW1356 t-case with slip-yoke tail?

And of course none of this actually helps Riot, lol

For starters, a F350 4X4 SC never existed in OEM form.
of the two halves, the rear half of a SC 4X4 driveshaft is generally consistent withing 1" of all transmissions.
the front half closest to the transfer case are different lengths. transmission and transfer case type greatly influence the length.

Ok news on F350 SC thanks.

I will measure both the c6 and zf shafts again tomorrow and post differences along with location distanc of carrier.

It was a significant enough difference for me to ask a d pozt this thread so you figure it out.
