so after installing my new moose pump on my N/A i decided i needed a way to lower my egts better. so i had some 4 inch pipe laying around and let me tell ya. yeah shes loud. and ways i am wandering was therte any laws in 93' haveing to do with these trucks., i know i will get a noise violation but wil i get bussted with no converter?

alright sweet im in th good then! seeing as i bought the truck with no exuast i wasnt sure so thanks for the help!

None of the idi engines up thru the 94 turbo engines ever had a cat converter. I'm not sure when cats came on the diesels but it was never and issue for us.

Where I live you must have a "baffled exhaust". So in my area they would pull me over for the noise, and then write me up for improper equipment for not having a muffler. The key is not to attract attention and get pulled over.

Technically I am illegal right now in my state, I have no muffler either. But I am running the stock y-pipe and stock diameter exhaust all the way back over the axle and behind the tire, and it's not loud enough to be a cop caller.
