looking at buying a 6.2 chevy, need help.

just wondering what the common corks are with these engins and if they are any good.. looking at buying one i found, just dont know nothing about them. thanks for any help.

one overheat and the heads are done.
check to see how it runs. if it runs smooth and doesn't pressurize the upper hose, you can proceed in looking further.

Ya i WOKE UP after i called the guy, just not a chevy man and dont want to be.. I'll stick to my fords and old mopars.. thanks for the help thou

Like towcat said, don't overheat them. But they can be a good motor; I have had great luck with them...lots of trouble free miles and good economy.
