Well, I haven't really done to much to my truck in the past few years. I'm in need of tires and I want 315-75-16's. I test fitted a set of worn out ones and the add a leaf just isn't cutting it. I pulled the trigger on a 3.5" PMF RSK kit tonight to go with a set of Superduty front leaf springs I have. This will allow me to order tires and begin fabbing a custom bumper which will have a two speed 6,000/12,000lb Beaver Winch integrated within. Here's a pic of 315's on its current height.

I'm pretty sure the running boards will be replaced with a more custom setup as well. Should be a good project.

Nice.
I was just searching for another member earlier. Saw your name and thought, "he hasn't been on in awhile."

Probably something custom, box or rectangular tubing, and aluminum diamond plate. Always need a little aluminum diamond plate....

Who said the first set won't come out perfect? A second set wouldn't be hard to do.

BTW, I finally got a welder/generator, should be able to make things stick together now.

Started tearing the truck apart for the RSK this evening. Made a pretty good run at it for playing driveway mechanic. I left off needing a torch to cut the 3 rivets off where the body mount for the front clip is, no way to get a cutting wheel in there. The back side of those rivets hold the shackle buckets which I want removed.

Yes, I managed to use a chainsaw and I used cordless tools exclusively in my driveway. Pretty good progress considering.

Drill the rivets! I can thank Mr. Brad Raube for that suggestion.
