I think I have got it figured out after studying my schematics for a few minutes.
you have a break in a ground wire or a bad connection on the drivers side door button.
here is the schematic that shows where the wire should be losing connection. if this wire is not grounded, when power is applied to the other side of the circuit, it does not get to ground.
now, that wire will be located on the pinout chart at one of these two locations.
i hope you are able to get it fixed. nothing more frustrating than something not working to me.
