trucks been running great. sometimes she'll take 2 revolutions to fire, and i dont like it especially heading into winter. the return lines are good, clamps are good, i've replaced a lot of the things that are to prevent fuel drainage, including the one way valve draining fuel into the #1 return line. do you think this could be the lift pump??? i've never looked at it, dont know if it was ever replaced, and am wondering if my IP is the one working to pull up fuel.

You can do a flow and pressure test on the lift pump. The pressure should be between 4 & 7 lbs and the rate of flow should be around 3 oz in a really short time. If you go over to the diesel stop web site member cndsarguy has the specifications for this and plenty of other information on his personal site. Its also great reading too.
