This meter is a very good but BUT only if you have the magnetic probe to make it work. This meter does not have that probe and it will cost you around $375.00 to purchase a new one. This is the same meter I use in my rental program. Mine has the 2 needed tools to change the timing. You are really needed them to move the pump to change the timing. They can be made but having the tools to copy the design is nice. One of our members here has taken my oem pump turning tool and created a very nice tool made to my specifications. This post is only to help those that might be looking to purchase one of these meters.

saw that, thought about buying it for a back up.
but i purchased the same meter for 250 and it came with 2 line clamps and 2 probes...
i guess i could buy it, make it a complete kit, and sell it.
but id rather have the redundancy than the cash.
ill wait for a better deal on a back up meter.

chances are if you do find a line clamp, it will be about the same cost as the meter Gary posted,
if i were you id buy it, and have a back up meter....
maybe you and Gary can go in halfs?

Yeah, I've been looking around for a while. I bought two meters a while back, one complete and one missing the line clamp but the price was right. If I do find one, I'll probably keep looking for another backup to the backup for the backup...
