help with kent moore j33300 and 7.3 timing

Hi…i purchased a used J33300. It came with the piezo clamp, the 5/16 ********* flexible wand and a larger probe with an optical eye ( i think)
My timing cover only has the lower larger bung which is slightly smaller than the larger optical eye probe.

Should i try enlarging the bung to fit this?

Otherwise i will buy another timing cover with both bungs

Thanks…I had read I think all of posts I could find about using the machine. I just have not found someone using the larger port on the harmonic balancer plate with the larger fitting that I posted a picture of.
