Ahh, it never ends. While in the driveway cranking wrenches earlier I managed to break off the brass fitting that threads into the rear of the injection pump. Was swapping the old leaking feed line over to the flex line and yay..

Man that stinks. That’s amazing the fitting broke before the threads in the aluminum case, id say you got lucky there!

That fitting is easy to remove.You may have noticed the black o ring that seals it to the housing. The threads are 1/2x20 fine machine threads. Nothing special.

I was able to grind down an easy out bit for proper fitment. Pulled one injector line and was able to break what was left of the threads loose from the injection pump. Got everything installed, cracked injector line and used the ol screwdriver trick on the starter solenoid and got the line bled and boom she roared to life.
