I just put my new ip in and everything went smooth. Went dwn the road ran great come home shut it off and then tried to restart it after 10 min and wouldn't start so I had to pour water on the pump to get it to start.. What causes the hot start problem?

Normally that means there is some internal parts that are worn. Agnem (Mel) posted a article on here in the last month that described what happened.

Where did you get the pump?

Well, that second pump you got ain't any good either. What do you mean by the first pump wasn't timed right? You have to do the timing, unless they put the pump together wrong somehow. Don't sound like there a reliable rebuilder.

The first one when I put it in the truck ran but rly rough and couldn't get the pump timed no matter how much I messed with it.. And yea no lie ain't worth a dang.. And hopefully third time is the charm..

Sorry to say this but its time to use a differant builder. What method are you using to time this engine.
