Hey everyone. Since ive been boring everyone with all the drivetrain and brake questions, I thought I would post some of the interior modification I've been doing.
These pictures were taken with just my phone so they aren't the best quality. When everything is done, Il take so better ones with my camera for you all.
First thing I did was strip the interior and cover it with dynamat.

Next was turning this seat into something a little more easy on the eyes.

Then, I did the overhead console mod with some slick Contura V switches. Here is the console.

These are the switches. I replaced the Glow Plug switches with one that said Glow Plugs.

Exactly what I was going for. The switches are new from OTRATTW. They are the contura V series. They can laser etch any design you want with multiple different colors. I was really glad with the way the fit in the overhead.
Hers their website. http://www.otrattw.net/home.php

nice...very nice...

Still for me not a fan of the **** red colour...others love it...I do however love that seat you did! Now that breaks up the red and allows for it to be tasteful ;) Kudos on that one!

Yea I was really trying to break up that red color. The black carpet, seat, and headliner should really help it.
Big thanks to the guys on here who helped me get those switches working.

That seat looks great! Tell me more...

Did you do it? Was it a kit? Did you pay someone and if so, how much???

Okay.... that overhead console is down right ****. Where in the world did you find it? Same place as the switches?

Very nice work.... as a ***** red lover, I still think this is a tasteful change up. ;Sweet

I went and checked out the web site. I'm sold. Just have to figure out what I need now.

The seat was an ordeal. When I was at a car show, I asked everyone who was doing their leather work. One name came up a few times so I drove down to check out the shop. The owner seemed to be a good guy. I told him what I wanted and he gave me a 600 dollar estimate. After that I brought the seat down, paid more that a half down payment, and waited for over two weeks for him to get to it. Then he calls me on a Saturday night asking for more money. After I drove down, we argued for about half an hour about weather or not that is "how the world works." He went on and on about how he is the "******* kind around here." and how no one is better then him. I explained that after more than half a down payment, it is absurd to ask me for more money on a Saturday night over the phone. Ended up paying around 1,300 for the seat, headliner, and visors.
I picked out that red color online. Its much more impressive in person. Still have about a whole hide left of the red left over.

The overhead console is out of an f650. Saw one in a truck at the world of concrete convention in las vegas. You can buy one from ford no problem. was very pleased how the switches fit. the glowshift gauges were a little to small but after wrapping some electrical tape around them they fit in perfect. Still working on all the sensors.

And yea, I can really suggest the switches. I talked to Jim at OTRATTW. Told him what I wanted and we emailed back and forth about it a little. He cut out exactly what I wanted and even helped me understand how one of them works. Planning on putting 3 more on the instrument cluster bezel for some off road lights, bed lights, and reverse lights.

Laserjock- I've been following your thread, Big Red, and you're doing some damn nice work there. Keep it up!

Definitely will get some better pictures up tomorrow night. I have a Nikon FE2 so it takes awhile to process the film.
