Injectors

I was looking around the net to find a good deal on a new set or even re-man injectors. The prices vary greatly and I don't know what to believe with all the claims of huge power and better fuel mileage, obviously not both from the same injectors. Is there any way to check to see if the ones I have are shot or worn? I don't need any more power from the truck, I just want better mileage.

Really the only way to check them is to pull them and take them to a diesel shop that does injector testing. Typically they charge a small fee from $5~10 an injector to test them (or at least that as been my experience).
