Injector torque

Do you hoodlums just tighten them up or is there a torque value. I am replacing all of mine and sending the old ones out to be gone through. I am using anti sieze on the new ones and cleaning out the holes with a brush and a little carb cleaner

I seem to remember it being 35ftlb

I could be a little off. I used anti seize and torqued them to 40 honestly.

Just make sure there's no crap where the copper washer sits, had that cause me LOTS of pain.

I think Wes did a write up on injector installation. I’m pretty sure it was right around 35 ft-lbs as well.


Although, I must admit, I most certainly am a hoodlum and just tightened mine down

Left side is changed out and if the inside of the injectors looks like the outside they needed changing pretty bad
