Injection Pump Leak

Gathering from THIS Webpage I'm going to torque it down to 85 ft lbs...

Looks like me and Snap On will have a deal... I came up with SP503 as the Snappy part number - I'll have to see if I can find it at one of the suppliers at work and get it under the tool program we have.

Oh my I need to stop looking for prep items for this little project... I seems that if I pull this barrel off I might as well put in new delivery valves - why not I'm going to be there anyhoo and I can turn up the power Like I need to do that...


Anyhoo Piers sells the socket cheaper than Snappy So it looks like I need to make a choice here in the next few weeks of either just fixing what's wrong or going all out and getting bigger fuel...

Can I upgrade the delivery valves without changing the injectors and still see some performance increase? Or should I really do both at the same time (I'll be truthful looking at the money aspects)

There is no need or reason to swap out the injectors
the same time you do d-valves. You can do them later,
after X-mas bills etc. are done and over with.
Unfortunatly, you will feel a seat of the pants
difference with D-valves, so if you can live with that
you'll be OK.
Some have seen close to 40hp with them,
depending on what you go with.
