IDI question

I have an IDI 7.3 and am in the beginning stages of finding out how I can add more power to this truck. I also should mention that I have a wet valley on the top end what does that mean. I just changed the glow plugs but, what else should I do? I am a rookie to diesels. Thanks.

Wet valley pan could be just leaking return O rings, or it could be coming from the injection pump.
Look in the IDI tech artical section and read all the write ups to get an idea of whats ahead.

But, what about adding power it does not have a turbo any suggestions on that?

turbo and a intercooler is a requirement to make reliable hp. a moosepump will put it over the top

Keep your eye out for a second hand turbo kit. You can typically find them for less than half the cost of a new one.
