Identify the mystery parts

So I was going to replace the head gaskets on the 6.9 that I had just pulled. Then I figured, its on the engine stand already why not take the pan off and have a look at the bottom end. This is what I found:

Guts from a fuel pump?

Anybody recognize these parts?

This engine I picked up for $500. as a replacement for the 7.3 that got overheated. I ran it for about 3 tanks of fuel before it also blew a head gasket. Just when I was getting it to run really well on bio.

Looks like the arm, pin and spring from a mis-aligned fuel pump.

The above is correct... Nothing to worry about.. You see how great the oil pump screen works now....
