first of all, i need to apologize, this isnt for an IDI but id thought id try to sneak it in!

can a SD hydroboost be mounted under the floor?
lower than the PS, but higher than the proportioning valveand calipers.
im doing custom brake and clutch pedals on a project of mine.
and i dont want to see all the clutter on the firewall.

besides in the future i want to do a twin turbo set up on this 7.3
firewall mounting would get in the way.

as long as the master cyl and reservoir are the highest points in the brake system should be fine.

Isn't the PS incorporated?
Or am I wrong?
They do sell residual valves incase it's lower than the wheel cylinders/ calipers to prevent fluid from flowing back into the master
This is how the brake system on my hotrod is

Shouldn't effect the PS system - it's all under positive pressure. The MC could be lower, but the reservoir needs to be above everything else since it's open to the air. Probably helps to some extent with air removal from the fluid if the MC is higher than the wheels but I'm not sure if it's enough to matter.
