So drove the new pig out to get the new tires. Trans slips some in low gears (auto). Did the filter, fluid is BLACK! There were no metal chunks, but some shavings, and unfortunately clutch material. 
Good news is, I put the new fluid in and ran it around, a LOT better.
Probably going to run this trans down then swap to a manual!!
