ok so I just recently purchased a 93 7.3 Idi and I believe the injection pump is shot on it is it worth buying a new one or try to find a used one? All feed back is welcome I'm new to the diesel community and am eager to learn

Tell us something about your truck. Tranny, 4X4 anything else that may be useful to your question. Throwing money and parts at your truck is not a good idea. Why do you think the injection pump is bad?

Well to start off, if it's a 93, that a idi, not a powerstroke.
But as Dave asked, why do you think it's bad?

Many details are needed to diagnose?? No start, running rough, smoking, high miles, color of the truck?? Lol
