help me my cummins throttle sticks

ok so i had to adjust my gas pedal back and anyway now i have a spring on my throttle linkage connected to the fan shroud why would it stick i fixed the pedal its working fine. but why would it stick at half throttle is my spring bad or to tight to loose what? i need this truck in the mourn to make a 40 mile drive and don't wanna wreck or anything stupid like that someone point me in the right direction.

check out the throttle rod for wear at the ball / socket area. This was actually a recall years upon years ago. I had to replace it in my Dodge. It would stick sometimes and then eventually it just flat fell off leaving me with nothing but a dead pedal,.

ok will the dealership tommorrow just replace it for free or do i have to pay for it ???
