The heater in my 86' has not been working for a while. That's not a problem in summer, but it's getting pretty cold now! I got sick of wearing a big coat whenever i took the truck out so I tore into the heater. I pulled the core out and flushed a bunch of nasty looking crud out of it, and put 'er back in. And wouldn't you know, it worked but now it leaks! So I went to the parts store and looked it up and got like 10 results, all of which were different. The old leaky one had the model number 398247, and the computer said that's for like a 1990-94 or something year pickup but we figured it should be the one if it was what was in it. and so we ordered one of those anyway. When it came it was close to the same size l but not round like the old one and wouldn't fit. So I took it back and the computer said it was a 398300. I do have A/C. So, before I get this one coming, does anyone know if this is the right one or know the right number? Thanks!

What are the measurements of the old core? (7 3/4 x6x2. # 94521 Spectra) (7 3/4 x7x2. #94582 Spectra) (7 1/4 x 5 4/5 x1. #96042 TYC) (7 3/7 x 6 3/7 x 1 1/4 #96035 TYC)
First numbers are in Inches. Second numbers are part number and then maker of said part.
