Got another Idi with a good motor

It is a cross between an 86 f250 and an 86 f150. The electrical system is kind of crap but it sat 4 months and it was about 14 when i started it. Took me about 10 minutes to start it and it purrs like a kitten. The story is the guy put 3500 in it about 10 years ago and just used it around the farm. THe past couple years it hasn't been used much. I think 1000 dollars well spent. its a big step above whats in my truck now.

cold starts are great cause the engine started, but if you asked the engine how would you like to be started it would ask for some heat. Especially the cylinder walls and piston rings!

Yikes, couple bad glow plugs and leaking return lines? Starts pretty bad for a warm day........

Have 2 glow plugs I cannot get out of the head and I'm sure it's low on compression. also i think it burns more oil than fuel. time for a new engine that one was free and served its purpose for a year lol

Top one is the good engine and the bottom is the bad engine in my truck now.
