Good buy or not?

Body has 170k on it w/ newer engine and tranny.
5 Speed, dual stacks, 10 foot bed.

$4500 for anything from GM is wayyyyyyy too much

Sounds like a good price if the body and interior are decent and it runs and drives good. It's got a little bit of goodie factor too.

imho, that is one of the better years to get. 6.5td without the "borg" IP. Seriously, as long as its not a fly-by wire system, you're good. Factory 6.5td parts are hard to come by. as far as the body, check your door hinges. They are the best indicators if your truck has been abused or not. Door hinges are the first to go.
