glow plug "hole" cleaning.

FYI: The hole in the head casting where the glow plugs screw in can be cleaned out pretty easily with brakleen and an air hose. Just spray in the brakleen and let it sit for a minute or so and then blow the gunk out with the air hose. The solvent air dries quickly and leaves everything clean and dry.

Oh, and wear safety glasses.

that brakleen stuff is awesome! i use it as a multipurpose solvent/cleaner on everything....that is.......everything i dont care about the paint on.

Brake Wash in general is the only thing I've found that takes Hydraulic oil off your skin/hands relatively easily.

Yeah, I even wash my hands with it.
cant anymore... I thought me living up in Oregon, I wouldn't have the dry out issue... Nope still do.... I use to wash my hands in the solvent tank after working on grease pits... I guess too many years of that.
