Isspro would most likely rank number one.
The auber instruments are pretty popular also. EGT, boost, coolant temp, oil pressure, trans temp for auto are all pretty good to watch.
I would say boost is least important out of those listed.

There's an element of personal preference, although some manufacturers are higher quality than others.

Personally, I run Isspro gauges and am very happy with their quality, appearance, and customer service. My Isspro EV pyrometer has worked flawlessly for over 10 years now ;Sweet

Others like Autometer; I'm sure the quality's fine, although they've always looked too rice-y for my tastes. I run trucks, not Honda Civics with 5-foot-tall trunk spoilers.

I have heard mixed reviews of Glowshift's quality control; some people love them; others have had major problems with them.

Just my $0.02...

I bought VDO gauges, no complaints.

I did a custom gauge cluster,

tried to go to VDO, because I had a tach and a pyro,
but took me 6 months of not getting my gauges to cancel the order.

I bought isspro, and the customer service was great, minus the fact that I bought the EV series with blue pointer and white background,
but they could not give me a fuel gauge to match.

Believe it or not, I have good luck with Equus gauges on MOST applications...

I say MOST, because if it deserves better, it gets a Dakota Digital set in it. ;Sweet
