went to service (oil, oil filter, fuel filter) stopped at napa to get a fuel filter and they ask if I had the fuel filter with a water drain on it, well honestly had not looked that close at it before, so I was thinking yea everything else diesel i have been around had a drain, so I got the one with drain, well you guessed it mine does not have a drain, and the new filter does not come with the actual drain just a threaded hole, so back to napa to find out if i can get the drain part and was told that was not available.
so the question is is it important or helpful to have the drain and if so where can i get the rest of the hardware to start using filters with a drain?
