Stupid Question, but I have a 03' GMC 2500HD D/A and have had the truck serviced at the dealer in the past, but this time I decided to do it myself and change the fuel filter... What type of fuel filter wrench do you guys use to into the tight space?
I have tried 3" -3 7/8" filter wrench but not big enough. Thanks in advance.

I don't know the brand I have but I got it at gmdieseltech.com. Eric sells a flexible handle one that fits well in that spot.

I just use an oil filter wrench that is the right size. Lots use a strap wrench. Good luck!

Regular old oil filter strap wrench does the job. Fuel filter is slightly bigger than a "normal" oil filter, though.

Bought a cheap strap wrench at a farm supply - you twist it with a ratchet and a long extension from the top- works great!:D
