I have a non waste gated banks turbo off of a 84 f-250 for sale. Has a about 40000 miles on it. This is the turbo only. I got a good deal on a wasted gated unit so I felt the need to swap them.

The waste gated unit builds boost much sooner(both are toe6h turbos but the wastegated has a smaller turbine housing 14 vs 18). Also if one tweaked the actuator an increase in overall boost could be had. In short the engine sure feels much stronger in the lower rpm range. Hold back a N series cummins this weekend and it was impressive the way it handled the load up the hills. Averaged 15 unloaded on the way down. 13.8 on the way back with the load, a strong cross wind and intermittent slush.
