I'm swapping a 94 E4OD tranny into 97 powerstoke and need a flexplate. First I need to know, is a 4 bolt flexplate strong enough for a powerstroke? I need a new flexplate anyway because mine is missing about 2" of teeth. The replacement tranny came with an aftermarket torque converter. I would hope to use the aftermarket torque converter, but if the 4 bolt flexplate is not adequate I'll stick with the 6 bolt and the stock converter.

Thank you very much for the help. Just finished it today. I lucked out on this junk yard transmission, it has been rebuilt. Tranny shifts very strong and smooth. Very happy to have the truck back.
