I dunno.......... I always got 13-14 towing with the 95. 17-19 unloaded. My 06 gets an easy 16-18 unloaded and I havent towed with it yet so I cant comment. I know all the 5.9L guys all get 35mpg+ towing uphill in a 90 mph headwind with a 98 foot 48,000 lb goose neck on behind it but hey, the have an awesome package around that junky motor too. naw--them durge boys wouldnt lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

problem is he's got a binary throttle foot like I do

... that's a uh, "unique" way of putting it..
I had a boss that had drove "digitally" - on / off.

You forgot about the tires that go 80K with lots of life left.

i don't know what dodge guy u been talking to my buddy has a 24v and it only gets 13-14 empty i laughed at him because my truck gets 17-18 empty and 15-16 towing

made a run to Bowling Green OH and back over the weekend pulling the 30' TT in stiff winds. truck handled it well and returned 8.9 mpg in 94 degree heat with the AC blasting. most of the time i ran 70 in OD but when the wind picked up i slowed it down to 60 in 3rd.

boy oh boy you guys who try to increase your turbo noise are nuts. you want turbo noise, buy an early '99. enough to make your ears ring. i can see why they changed the design for late 99 and after. but it does pull good i'll give it that, even for a stock 7.3.
