First Gen tailgate

Anyone had any problems, or had to install a new tailgate hindge? Have any idea on where to buy one at? And anybody ever repalced the internal mechanics of the tailgate?..Looks just like a couple simple bars..Any former advice to give?

Im a welder by trade so this fix was easy. Just used a piece of 1.5" tubing after cutting off the one side and for the half round on the oppisit side I used my flat plate bender with the appropriat radius die and did the same thing(cut the old off and reweld the new).But for the rusted out metal to hold the tailgate hinges I just marked and cut out new sheetmetal and rewelded it to the old cutout and primed paint and was done.make sure to have reference points before you cut the old hinges out of there so your tailgate lines up again!!
