Anyone running a passenger side differential? I need to either swap in a driver side axle or figure out a passenger drop Tcase option.

4 Speed Ford manual for now - probably go to a zf5 down the road. The motor is a 6.9 - maybe 85, if I remember right.

Tcase question would apply better if we knew what transmission was in there I suppose!

Is the current trans 4x4? The easiest thing would probably be to go with a divorced 205. Pretty sure you can get them dropped to either side. If it's a T-18 or t-19 I would be surprised if you couldn't find a compatible GM or IH or Dodge?? Case. Might be easier to swap the front diff.

Didn't they use the T-18 in the jeeps also? I'd be surprised if you couldn't make the t-18 work with a jeep transfercase with a passenger side drop. If it didn't bolt up I would bet worst case would be swapping out a rear output shaft and maybe adapter to a "jeep" style one.

Very cool project. Where's the pics of your hummer?

Might have to do some Frankenstein-ing. Swap the guts of a Dodge np435 into a Ford case and use a Dodge np205, if the front bellhousing patterns don't match.

Np203/205 doubler using a ford np203 and a Chevy 205

Behemoth Drivetrain Strongbox kit with a Chevy output

Atlas/STaK?

Could do the same with the t-18 as the np435, if everything matches up.

I'll have to spend some time looking around at the random parts I have around here - I've got a sm465, a 208c, the Jeep's original T10/d20 combo - I would think at some point there was a six hole round passenger case made, but if not hopefully there is a case that I can swap the guts around in. I would prefer not to Frankenstein a tranny.

I really like the doubler idea - hadn't even thought of that. The Jeep has narrow frame rails, so the size of that might end up being an issue.

That behemoth strongbox thing is pretty awesome as well - I wasn't aware of there existence. Anyone know of an overdrive box like that in a similar price range?
