at the service dept. it was due for its first oil change, and since they pay, well, hell yeah I'll let them do it.
but anywho, on the way back from Iowa, pulling my trailer it acted up worse than ever before. not only does it do the turbo farting/surging at low rpms on a grade/under strain, now it bucks wildly at 2800 rpm and then again at 3200.
crazy thing was, my mpg finally went up to something like 18 or 19 on the way up. But pulling my trailer (especially wht the trackhoe) its down to around 7, if that.
whats pitiful, is pulling the trailer alone, it had a helluva time maintaining hyway speeds on slight grades. my last two 6.0's even when they weren't running right still never came out of OD (5th) and held 70 mph even up hills.
also, the brakes squeak and the steering grinds at parking lot speeds going to each locks...
and they better fix the exhaust rattle that I showed them day I got it.
I feel like I just wrote up a service tech order.
