exhaust noise

got a 90 7.3 just rebuilt got about 95 miles on the engine dual exhaust and the driver side started making a sucking sound out of the driver side exhaust pipe is new no leaks pulled valve cover rocker arms look fine all were tight both heads are rebuilt block sleeved did not start doing this until about 5 miles ago any ideas

Are you saying that the exhaust manifolds are new? How did you check for leaks. A "sucking" sound doesn't sound normal for a leak. I don't really have any ideas if theres to leaks, but I hope you get to the bottom of it.

did you throw a crossover pipe in the setup?

Is there a vacuum pump located in that area? ... Not familiar with that year ... How are the brakes?

manifolds arent new no vacuum pump in the area its coming out the exhaust tip maybe a valve check better today no crossover pipe

did compression test all cylinders were 440-460 loosened the 4 injectors on driver side and the motor would stumble the ip has about 1100 miles on it but it sounds like a miss on the driver side exhaust but under the hood the engine is smooth the injector are not new could it be something with them
