What does something like this mean:

This forum requires that you wait 15 seconds before submitting another search. You have 5 seconds to wait before another search will be allowed.

I swear the two times it came up tonight I only tried to make make one search [actually an active topic search].

In theory what does it matter if I ask for two searches in 15 seconds or whatever its upset about?

Active topics is also considered a search. We have to have a limit on the search time because if it is too low people can actually use it maliciously to slow down or ever crash the site.

I could likely drop it down a bit if people are finding it to be a problem.
