Have a couple of questions about engine upgrades, and engine removal/installation. At the moment, there is no tranney in my truck, and i was wondering... how hard is it to remove the motor like it is? What thinks do i have to disconnect? Also, once i got it out, and wanted to put it back in, would i just connect the tranney to the motor, and put them in together? If there is an easier way to do this, please tell. I would like to do quite a few things to this truck to make it more durable, reliable, and powerful. Some of these things include low compression pistons, head studs, gear timing set, and a stud girdle kit. This will allow me to put the boost to 20 without risking failure. It will also allow me to increase fuel delivery.

Also, where is there a place/company, where i can buy 18:1 pistons?

Good luck starting it at that compression. Even in pleasant weather, it will be an sob.
