E4OD to C6

How hard would it be to ditch the slushbox and put a C6 in it's place? Would any wiring have to be changed or is it just pug and play?

Truck is a 88 single cab long bed F250 4x4 5.8LW. Donor for C6 is a 78 F250 with a 302 4x4.

How are you guys finding these C6's? I've had a Bronco down for 4 months, no luck finding one!! Now just putting in another E4OD

I seen em from time to time scrouging various junkyard heh. Thats all i can do with not workin lol.

Why not rebuild the E4OD and have the benifits of the Overdrive and Lockup Torque Converter? The E4OD is based on the C6 with the previous 2 items added.

It's only a plow truck, and a C6 is the tougher of the two for the beating I'll put it through

of course, they're only $100 at the junkyards here
